Spent a brilliant couple of hours coasteering with Surfing Croyde Bay yesterday. It was just us (me and my 3 children aged 9-12) and the leader. It was well organised and all of the kit needed was provided – wetsuit helmet buoyancy jacket. The landscape was beautiful with lots of rocks for scrambling, gullies and high jumps. It was literally thrilling – a fantastic experience. The leader was great with my kids both supporting them but also challenging my youngest to go beyond her comfort zone. The facilities in the shop were great with hot showers and loads of changing space.

This full day coasteering session is in a group format and is ideal for first timers, families, stag and hen groups.
Join us at Surfing Croyde Bay and experience a full day of coasteering. You will experience 2 different routes determined by the tide times and weather conditions on the day.

Explore the beautiful North Devon coastline in an adrenaline pumping adventure activity that combines swimming with rock scrambling and thrilling jumps all set in stunning surroundings.

All of our guides are fully qualified beach lifeguards, and have extensive knowledge of the coastline tailoring the routes to suit all levels.
The routes can be changed daily depending on sea state and your instructors will choose the safest way along the coastline.
Sessions include: Wetsuits, helmets and a life jacket. All we ask you to bring is a pair of your own shorts to go over the wetsuit, footwear (trainers or wetsuit boots) and a sense of adventure.
Smaller group sizes mean our guides can give you more attention in a safer environment to speed up the learning process.
We run daily coasteering experiences suitable for everyone aged 8 to 80, from complete beginner to accomplished coasteer, school groups to group parties.
We want you to enjoy coasteering as much as we do, so whether you’ve never jumped off a rock before or have been doing it for years, we want to help you have the most fun possible.
