We spent a brilliant couple of hours coasteering with Surfing Croyde Bay yesterday. It was just us (me and my 3 children aged 9-12) and the leader.

It was well organised and all of the kit we needed was provided – a wetsuit, helmet, and buoyancy jacket.

The landscape was beautiful with lots of rocks for scrambling, gullies, and high jumps. It was literally thrilling – a fantastic experience.

The leader was great with my kids both supporting them and also challenging my youngest to go beyond her comfort zone. The facilities in the shop were great with hot showers and loads of changing space.

Join us at Surfing Croyde Bay for a full-day coasteering adventure, which is ideal for first-timers, families, school groups, and stag or hen groups. To begin with, you’ll tackle two unique routes, specifically chosen based on the day’s tide and weather.

As you embark on this fast-growing activity, you’ll clamber, scramble, jump, and swim along the stunning North Devon coastline. In addition, this adrenaline-pumping adventure combines swimming, rock scrambling, and thrilling jumps, all while treating you to breathtaking views along the way.

Since coasteering is one of the most popular activities here, it’s a fantastic addition to your holiday in Croyde. Not only will you feel the rush of adrenaline, but you’ll also witness some incredible sights.

Furthermore, we’re proud to be the only coasteering centre in Croyde. All of our guides are fully qualified beach lifeguards, and with their extensive knowledge of the coastline, they tailor routes to match all experience levels. Each day, they adjust routes based on sea conditions, selecting the safest and most enjoyable paths.

For your session, we’ll provide wetsuits, helmets, and life jackets. Simply bring a pair of shorts to wear over the wetsuit, trainers you don’t mind getting wet, and your sense of adventure! Moreover, our smaller group sizes allow our guides to offer more personal attention, which helps you learn faster and enjoy a safer experience.

Additionally, we offer daily coasteering sessions for everyone from ages 10 to 70. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced coasteerer, our goal is to ensure you have as much fun as we do.
