Meet the team!

This is Harry, a new addition to the team this year. Harry’s been a friend of the business since his groms days with Surf Dev. An all around sportsman, volleyball pro and an awesome surf instructor. Get to know Harry:

When did you start Surfing?

My dad surfed occasionally as a child and since we moved down to North Devon, he has continued to carrying in his passion with me in the water. From there, I began surfing with Damo at his original surf school out the back of the Old Cream Shop.

Why did you become a surf instructor?

I always worked indoors in restaurants and it has never been what I enjoy. Sport was what I enjoyed. I thought the best way for me to move on would be sharing my passion for sport and the whole surfing community.

What do you enjoy most in a surf lesson?

The social aspect of every lesson and being able to share the sport beyond North Devon.

Why do you work at Surfing Croyde Bay?

Damon – the growth of the business from the back of the Old Cream Shop to Baggy Point, I wanted to be a part of the great reputation.
