This means the level of instruction you will receive will be second to none. The group size will be low, limited to a maximum of 6 students to 1 instructor. In reality and on average this ratio is 4:1. We hve the highest level is ISA surf coaches directly employed by our surf school. This means your lesson will be taught by a Surfing Croyde Bay member of staff who is fully qualified as a surf coach and beach lifeguard.

WHY SURF IN NORTH DEVON?
YOU ARE IN SAFE HANDS
We take your safety very seriously at Surfing Croyde Bay. You will use a soft top surfboard which helps to prevent any injuries from stray surfboards. Our group sizes are limited to a maximum of 6 participants, so our instructors have a safe small group size to work with. All of our surf instructors are first aiders with beach lifeguard qualifications. This all adds up to a very well managed surf experience which you’ll benefits from, and we are very proud of.
