Meet the team!
We are stoked to have Nathan working as manager this season, he’s worked his way up through the ranks since joining the team 6 years ago for work experience. Now a qualified surf instructor, lead coasteer guide and the general manager of our Surf School/Coasteering Centre.
Nathan is a man of few words, an excellent surf coach and level 3 legend.
How did you get into surfing?
With the father when I was just over 1 year old. I surfed with my dad Dad and then my mates. I started working at SCB for work experience and loved it so much that I became qualified when I was old enough.
What do you enjoy most in a surf lesson?
Passing on surfing knowledge to clients and seeing the positive outcomes it brings to them.
Why do you work at Surfing Croyde Bay?
All the staff are great fun and all work hard. The cafe has the best coffee in north Devon 😉 We have a great team that works at the surf school as well as in the cafe, everyone gets along, makes us all enjoy coming to work even more than we already do!
