Terms and conditions for Surfing Croyde Bay Social media competitions

The promoter is Surfing Croyde Bay and Cafe Croyde Bay Ltd whose registered office is at Baggy Lodge, Moor Lane, Croyde, EX33 1PA.

1. The competition is open worldwide to aged 18 years or over except employees of Surfing Croyde Bay and Cafe Croyde Bay and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
2. Surfing Croyde and Cafe Croyde are not responsible for any travel arrangements for participants, if you are the winner you are responsible for getting to and from our business.
3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

6. Closing date for entry will be 8/10/2023 23:59pm. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
8. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: by following @‌surfingcroyde & @‌cafecroyde, liking this post, tagging at least 1 account in a comment, and sharing the post to at least 1 instagram story.
9. The prize is as follows: A two person private surf lesson, a choice between a photographer or videographer during the session, WeTransfer of the media from the session, Full English Breakfast + coffees either before or after the session at Cafe Croyde Bay.
10. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize can not be redeemed for money, or returned for the value of the prize. If you win the competition and would like to transfer or gift it, it must be transferred by Surfing Croyde Bay and Cafe Croyde Bay otherwise it is no longer valid.
11. Winners will be chosen: by randomised software.
12. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. The winner will only ever be contacted by Surfing Croyde Bay and Cafe Croyde Bay. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
13. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.
14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final.
15. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
16. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].
17. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry.
