SLSGB is the preferred qualification by the RNLI. Surfing Croyde Bay offers you the chance to train as a beach lifeguard and gain the SLSGB Surf Lifeguard course qualification.

Working with Ex-England Surfing Head Junior Coach you’ll be learning with the best.
If you wish to work as a surf instructor this course can be combined with the beach lifeguard qualification.

Our training centre is strategically located in Croyde Bay village at The Old Cream Shop on Hobbs Hill. A short 2-minute drive brings you to both Croyde Beach and the National Trust headland known as Baggy Point.
Surf and Beach Lifeguard Courses take place on Croyde Beach. Coasteering training takes place on Baggy Point and at Hele Bay.
