All facilities in our purpose-built surf centre are perfect for groups as it has everything you need under one roof. With heated indoor changing, hot showers, a car park and on-site cafe you only need to bing your towel and we will provide everything else
Safety First
With fully qualified ISA surf instructors, beach lifeguards and D.B.S checked with senior staff holding date certification for specifically working with and safeguarding children you are guaranteed to be in safe hands. In additional to this as an outdoor activity provider we are approved and accredited by the H.S.E and hold an up to date A.A.L.A licence.
6:1 Ratio
We run all of our activities to a maximum ratio of 6 students to 1 instructor, which is an industry leading standard and something we are incredibly proud to provide. We believe this speaks volumes about our commitment to providing professional, safe activities.

We just wanted to thank you for accommodating all 105 of our Yr8 students and staff over three days in June 2023. The booking was sorted out very efficiently to match the tides and ensure that all the students could participate in both surfing and coasteering. The instructors were excellent; all very professional, encouraging and attentive. They took note of any medical conditions and ensured that all the students had a great time. Our group was camping, and it was very kind of the cafe to agree to do S'mores for the group one evening. I really can't recommend them highly enough, and we're already planning our return in 2024!

With over 15 years coaching beginners to high-performance Great Britain surfers Damon Beveridge leads the development and training of all of our coaches. You couldn’t be taught by a better qualified and progressive team of coaches.

Surfing Croyde Bay has two International Surfing Association (ISA) Level 2 Qualified coaches. The level of expertise for teaching at Surfing Croyde Bay is second to none. That’s why we are also chosen to coach some of the UK’s best up and coming surfers as well as professional touring surfers too. The ISA Level 2 Coach is the highest surf coaching certification and means these instructors are competent to coach surfers of all levels from Beginners through to elite level surfers.
