We are looking for enthusiastic and like minded people to join our team for the 2024 season.

We are hiring Surf Coaches, Surf hire staff, Coasteering Guides in both part and full time positions plus a and a full time seasonal Photographer/Media Person to join our team for the season.

Working at Surfing Croyde

Surfing Croyde Bay is the most exciting and progressive surf school in Croyde and arguably the U.K. Operating out of 5 star facilities, using the very best equipment and over looking one of the U.Ks best beach breaks is where our team of friendly, energetic and hard working people take pride in delivering exceptional service for our customers every day of the year.

We are a tight knit team of committed surfers with a shared passion for providing the highest quality of surf coaching. We believe a company is only as good as it’s staff and we’re stoked to have some of Devon’s finest already working with us but are now looking to grow our team as demand increases.

Perks of the job

Being a surf coach has to be one of the best jobs in the world, working outdoors in an environment such as the beach definitely beats an office gig but the fact you get to work with customers who genuinely want to be there, who want to learn and improve in the sport you are passionate about really doesn’t feel like work. Working with us at Surfing Croyde Bay comes with various perks beyond those of being a surf coach. We pay our staff a very competitive rate with instructors, guides and surf school staff all capable of receiving increased pay rates through our bespoke grading system based on experience, qualifications and age.

Alongside our 5 star facilities including heated changing rooms, hot showers and on site licensed cafe/bar we also use the very best equipment, which makes teaching surf lessons a lot easier than using substandard beginner surf boards. It also means you get to use the best equipment for yourself and friends on days off or those before and after work surfs.

We run all of our surf lessons and coasteering sessions to a maximum teaching ratio of 6 students per instructor, the lowest ratio of any Surfing England centre of Excellence. While this is great for our customers it is also a massive benefit to our staff who not only have less people to be responsible for the safety of but allows for more actual one on one coaching time.

As a member of our team you will also benefit from our relationships with some of the top surf brands such as FCS, Softech surfboards, Dakine, Sharpeye, Tiki and more offering great discounts on all products.

All of our staff receive free and/or heavily discounted food and drinks from the on site cafe as an added bonus too.
