School Trips with a difference
Did you know that one of the UK’s most accomplished School Activity Centres is right on your doorstep in Croyde, North Devon? Your pupils from Key Stage 2-4 can take a school trip to learn to surf, and go coasteering. The student to instructor ratio of 6:1 is the lowest of any England Surfing Centre of Excellence, ensuring quality and engaging experiences for your pupils.

Putting Educational Experience

Run by Former Team GB Head Junior Coach Damon Beveridge, the highest standards of teaching and safety, are incorporated into the experiences available to your pupils at Surfing Croyde Bay.
You can book a variety of group sizes from small groups to larger groups of 50 or more. You can stagger sessions throughout the day for larger groups.

Surfing Croyde Bay has been operating on Croyde Beach for almost 17 years. Over this period, we have built relationships with Stanchester Academy, Uffculme School and Horris Hill School, to name a few. Junior athlete teams such as the GB gymnastic squad and several Football, Rugby and Cricket clubs, all regularly visit Surfing Croyde Bay for activity weeks and ad hoc sessions.

Ensuring our high standards of practice and coaching is Damon Beveridge, our managing director.
He is the founder of Surf Development UK an organisation that takes kids from grassroots surfing right through to competing on the world stage as well as being Head Coach to the GB Junior Surf Team since 2012.
